About 2013 Porsche Cayenne
Based on the Cayenne S, the 2013 Cayenne GTS offers improved performance while conserving fuel consumption. The engine is based on the 4.8-liter V8 cylinder that offers 420-hp -- 20 more than the Cayenne S. In the spirit of providing a sporty and active driving experience, maximum torque of 381 lb.-ft. is achieved in the Cayenne GTS, 12 lb.-ft. higher than Cayenne S.
The Cayenne GTS comes standard with an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission including Auto Start Stop function. The tuning of 8-speed Tiptronic S has been adapted for better performance in the sport mode of the GTS. Together with the standard sports exhaust system, one press of the Sport Button will bring the "purist" aspects of the vehicle to life.
With an emphatically sporty chassis, including Porsche Active Suspension Management and 24-mm lowering, the new Cayenne GTS sits even closer to the ground. Together with its 20-inch RS Spyder wheels, Cayenne GTS demonstrates its potential power even while stationary.
As a standard inclusion in the Cayenne GTS, the seat centers, center console, door panels and roof liner feature an Alcantara finish. The standard Alcantara package can be expanded with the optional SportDesign steering wheel with Alcantara steering wheel rim.
From the exterior, the striking feature of the Cayenne GTS is the aggressive front end distinguished by its larger cooling air intakes. The Cayenne GTS comes with the standard SportDesign package, and is comprised of specific side skirts, impressive wheel arch extensions and a roof spoiler with a twin-wing profile.
Additionally, two new colors, Carmine Red and Peridot Metallic are exclusively available for the new Cayenne GTS.
